Lashonda Daugherty Louisville KY Obituary – Lashonda Daugherty, 42, of Louisville, passed away on the evening of September 20, 2025, following a tragic single-vehicle accident in the 4500 block of W. Broadway.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department, along with fire and EMS personnel, responded to the scene after reports of a serious collision. According to the LMPD Traffic Unit, which was called in due to the severity of the incident, Lashonda’s vehicle was traveling westbound on Broadway when, for reasons still under investigation, it veered from its lane, struck a tree, and overturned onto the driver’s side.
Emergency crews used mechanical means to free Lashonda from the wreckage. She was transported to University of Louisville Hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office later determined the cause of death to be blunt force trauma.
Lashonda was a beloved member of her community and is remembered for her vibrant spirit, generosity, and the love she shared with friends and family. Her sudden passing is a devastating loss to all who knew her.
