Jessica J. Wimp BLOOMINGTON, Ill. Death-Obituary – The McLean County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a tragic early morning crash on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, as Jessica J. Wimp, age 24, of Bloomington.
According to McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathleen Yoder, Jessica was pronounced dead at the scene following the single-vehicle collision. Emergency responders were called to the site in the early hours of the morning, but despite life-saving efforts, she succumbed to her injuries.
Jessica was a beloved daughter, friend, and member of the Bloomington community. Known for her kind heart and vibrant spirit, she touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
An autopsy has been scheduled, and the crash remains under investigation by local authorities and the McLean County Coroner’s Office.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family in the coming days.
