It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jesus Verdugo, 42, who died in a tragic automobile accident in Marana, Arizona, on the morning of Saturday, September 14, 2025.
Born in 1983, Jesus was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. Known for his generous heart, infectious laugh, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved, Jesus brought light into every room he entered. His presence was bold and unforgettable, leaving lasting impressions on everyone who had the privilege to know him.
He was a proud resident of Marana, where he built a life rooted in family and community. Jesus had a passion for cars, music, and spending time with those closest to him. His hands were rarely still—always working, fixing, building, helping. He will be remembered for his determination, his strength, and the kindness he showed without expecting anything in return.
Jesus’s life was tragically cut short in a fiery crash near Interstate 10 and Twin Peaks Road. According to police, his vehicle crossed a median and overturned before catching fire. He died at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
He is survived by his children, parents, siblings, extended family, and countless friends who mourn his sudden loss and cherish his memory.
Services to celebrate Jesus’s life will be announced at a later date. The family asks for privacy as they grieve and encourages the community to remember Jesus for the love and joy he brought to those around him.
Rest in peace, Jesus. You will never be forgotten.
