VICKSBURG, Miss. — Family and friends are mourning the loss of Corey Zukatis, a 36-year-old man from Brandon, who was tragically found deceased on Monday morning near the Ameristar Casino in Vicksburg.
Authorities say Zukatis, who had been experiencing homelessness, was discovered in a wooded area around 10:30 a.m. The Warren County Coroner, Doug L. Huskey, confirmed his identity.
While officials have not released further details surrounding his death, his family has been notified of the heartbreaking loss.
