The accident occurred after pieces of plywood fell from a tractor-trailer, triggering a four-car pileup. Nicholas was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Born and raised in Waterford, Nicholas was known for his warmth, humor, and unwavering love for family and friends. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a smile.
