It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Eoin McDermott, a cherished member of our community and a true gentleman in every sense of the word.
Originally from Kildare, Eoin made a lasting impact both on and off the pitch. As a dedicated player for the Kilmore Utd Over-35s team**, Eoin gave nothing less than 100% every time he stepped onto the field. His commitment, passion, and sportsmanship made him a valued teammate and a respected presence within the club.
But it was off the pitch where Eoin’s true legacy shines even brighter. He was a devoted husband to Amy and a proud, loving father to A.J., Orlaith, and Faye. His warmth, kindness, and gentle nature made him someone everyone was proud to know and call a friend.
Our deepest condolences and heartfelt thoughts go out to Amy, the children, and all of Eoin’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. We especially want to extend our love and support to A.J., a valued member of our U14 team, and to let the McDermott family know that the entire Kilmore Utd community stands beside you** in grief and solidarity.
