Milpitas, CA – August 31, 2025— Authorities are investigating an apparent suicide after an individual was found deceased at a residence in Milpitas.
According to officials, officers from the Milpitas Police Department and personnel from the Milpitas Fire Department responded to the scene following a report on Sunday. Upon arrival, first responders located the individual, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary findings indicate no signs of foul play, and investigators believe the death was self-inflicted. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released further details at this time.
