London, August 30, 2025 — Police have launched an investigation following a stabbing incident at a residential address on Amsterdam Road in the Isle of Dogs area of East London.
Emergency services were called to 112 Amsterdam Road shortly after today, where they discovered a male victim suffering from stab wounds. London Ambulance Service treated the individual at the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital. His current condition is not yet known.
A crime scene remains in place as officers from the Metropolitan Police carry out a full investigation. No arrests have been made so far, and the motive behind the attack is still under investigation.
In a statement, a police spokesperson said:
“We are in the early stages of our investigation and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that could help us to come forward.”
Local residents reported seeing a heavy police presence in the area, with forensic teams also on site.
