According to witnesses, the individual, described as a young male and possibly a teenager, rode his BMX bike to the top of the bridge before jumping, leaving the bicycle behind. Authorities quickly responded to the scene, with at least one sheriff’s cruiser observed parked at the top of the span.
Drivers reported delays in the area as law enforcement investigated the incident and monitored traffic on the busy bridge.
