It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Victor Austin, 39, of Kansas City, Missouri, who lost his life on Saturday, August 23, 2025, as a result of a violent incident in the 1700 block of E. 12th Terrace. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Victor was a beloved son, friend, and member of the community, known for his quiet strength, loyalty, and unwavering dedication to those he cared for. He had a deep love for music, laughter, and the bonds of family. Though his life was cut short under tragic and senseless circumstances, those who knew him will remember his generous spirit and the warmth he brought into every room.
Victor’s untimely death is part of an ongoing police investigation, and authorities are working diligently to bring clarity and justice in the wake of this heartbreaking event. Two other individuals — a man and a juvenile — sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the incident.
Victor’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family at a later time.
