It is with profound sadness that the Mount Arlington Fire Department announces the passing of Diego Escobar, a dedicated and courageous member of Mount Arlington Fire Department.
Diego joined the department earlier this year and had recently completed the rigorous requirements of firefighter training. In his short time with us, Diego showed unwavering commitment, strength, and a deep desire to serve his community. His determination and heart left a lasting impression on everyone who had the honor of working beside him.
We mourn the loss of a promising young firefighter whose journey had only just begun. Our thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with Diego’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
Funeral arrangements will be shared once they are finalized.
