It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Jayden Flemming and Ronnie Burns, both proud graduates of Florida A\&M University, who lost their lives in a devastating car accident yesterday.
Jayden Flemming was a trailblazer and beacon of inspiration. A proud first-generation college graduate from Florida A\&M University’s esteemed School of Business and Industry, Jayden exemplified academic excellence and determination. Most recently, he had been accepted into the highly competitive **Global Business Development master’s program at Kempten University of Applied Sciences in Germany**—a testament to his vision, drive, and passion for international business, consulting, and global strategy. His dreams were vast, and his future was luminous.
Ronnie Burns, equally cherished, was known for his warmth, loyalty, and unshakable support for those around him. As a fellow Rattler, Ronnie embodied the spirit of community and pride that defines FAMU. He was a beloved friend, son, and brother, whose presence brought joy to many and whose absence will be deeply felt.
Their sudden departure leaves an indescribable void in the hearts of their families, friends, classmates, and all who had the privilege of knowing them. As we mourn their loss, we also celebrate the light they brought into the world, their accomplishments, and the legacy they leave behind.
May Jayden and Ronnie rest in eternal peace. They will forever be remembered, honored, and missed.
