DUNDAS, ONT. (July 27, 2025) — The community of Dundas is mourning the tragic loss of Zachary Shuman, who was killed in a shooting on Sunday evening. He was just 25 years old.
Hamilton Police say officers were called to the area of 77 Governors Road at approximately 5 p.m. for reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, first responders found Shuman unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Zachary is remembered by loved ones as a kind-hearted, bright, and loyal young man whose life was taken far too soon. His death has left his family and friends devastated and searching for answers.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
