Columbus, GA – July 23, 2025 — Hernandez Hubbard II, age 21, tragically lost his life in a fatal shooting on Tuesday on Stone Way Drive in Columbus. The incident is under active investigation by the Columbus Police Department.
Hernandez was known to his family and friends as a kind-hearted and determined young man with a bright future ahead. His sudden passing has left loved ones and the local community in deep sorrow.
Columbus Police have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting. Detectives are urging anyone who may have been in the area of Warm Springs Road near Schomburg Road around the time of the incident to come forward with any information that might assist the investigation.
