Milwaukee, WI — July 8, 2025 — Authorities are investigating after a person was found dead at The Trade Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. Initial reports indicate the individual died by apparent suicide.
The incident occurred earlier this week, prompting a swift response from hotel staff and emergency personnel. The Milwaukee Police Department confirmed that the person was pronounced dead at the scene. No foul play is suspected at this time, but officials have not yet released the individual’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
A spokesperson for The Trade Hotel said the staff is cooperating fully with law enforcement and expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
