With deep sorrow, we announce the tragic passing of Tyquan Jones-Alexander, age 14, of Cincinnati, Ohio. Tyquan lost his life in a senseless act of violence in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, in the 800 block of Hutchins Avenue near Reading Road.
Tyquan was a bright, kind-hearted, and spirited young man whose life was just beginning. He was deeply loved by his family, friends, and those who had the joy of knowing him. His smile could light up a room, and his presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.
As Cincinnati Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death, his community mourns a life taken far too soon.
Tyquan is survived by his loving family, including his parents, siblings, grandparents, and extended family who are heartbroken by this unimaginable loss.
Funeral arrangements will be shared by the family at a later time. The family asks for privacy as they grieve and encourages the community to honor Tyquan’s memory by promoting peace, compassion, and care for one another.
