With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Hunter Loomis, age 20, of the Oakville section of Watertown, Connecticut. Hunter tragically lost his life on Thursday, July 3, 2025, following a motor vehicle accident on Litchfield Road (Route 63) in Watertown.
At approximately 3:00 p.m., emergency responders arrived at the scene of a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck towing a trailer. Hunter, the operator of the motorcycle, sustained severe injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Hunter was a beloved son, friend, and member of the Watertown community. Known for his adventurous spirit, kind heart, and passion for motorcycles, he touched the lives of many in his short time on earth. His passing is a heartbreaking loss to his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Funeral arrangements will be shared by the family in the coming days. The community joins in mourning this profound loss and offers deepest condolences to Hunter’s loved ones.
He will be forever missed and never forgotten.
