Fremont, CA — July 1, 2025 — A deadly shooting took place Tuesday morning in Fremont, prompting a swift police response and an ongoing investigation.
At approximately 10:37 a.m., the Fremont Police Department Communications Center received multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting that a person had been shot in the area of Northport Loop West. Responding officers arrived on scene and located an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers immediately rendered medical aid until emergency medical personnel arrived and took over care.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.
