It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of John Simeonie, age 52, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Friday night, June 27, 2025. The accident occurred around 10 p.m. on South County Trail in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. John was transported to Kent Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to East Greenwich police, initial reports indicate that alcohol was not a factor in the crash, and no charges have been filed at this time.
John was a man known for his strength, independence, and passion for the open road. Whether riding his motorcycle or spending time with those he loved, he lived life on his own terms—fully and without regret. His presence, laughter, and kind heart will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
