Streetcar Stabbing – One Person Stabbed on Downtown TTC Streetcar, Suspect at Large: Toronto Police

One person was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing on a TTC streetcar in downtown Toronto Thursday afternoon, police say.

Toronto police were called to the area of Queen Street West and Peter Street, just east of Spadina Avenue, shortly before 4 p.m. for reports of a stabbing onboard a streetcar.

Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a stab wound. Toronto paramedics confirmed to CTV News Toronto that the victim was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, described as a female, fled the scene in an unknown direction. No arrests have been made, and police have not released further details about the suspect or the circumstances leading up to the attack.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto police or Crime Stoppers.
