Born in 1955, Dr. Niami graduated from the National University of Iran / Faculty of Medicine (Jarjani Medical School) in 1982. Shortly after completing his medical training, he moved to the United States to continue his residency and begin a lifelong career devoted to the health and well-being of children and families.

Dr. Niami was widely respected for his expertise, gentle demeanor, and unwavering commitment to his patients. He was affiliated with several prominent medical institutions throughout his career, including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he collaborated closely with fellow physicians to provide exceptional pediatric care.

Colleagues remember him not only as a skilled doctor but also as a mentor and role model, who brought kindness and empathy to every interaction. Patients and their families trusted him deeply and often described his care as “thoughtful, thorough, and deeply human.”

Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Niami was a lifelong learner, a devoted family man, and a supporter of community health initiatives. He found joy in mentoring young medical professionals and advocating for children’s health on both local and global scales.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
