It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Miia Illiano, beloved wife of Frank Illiano, owner of New York J&P Pizza.
Miia died following a two-vehicle deadly crash on Interstate 70 in Mount Airy.
Miia was a shining light in every sense — always welcoming, endlessly kind, and filled with warmth that radiated to everyone around her. Her smile could brighten any room, and her presence brought comfort, joy, and love to all who knew her.
She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud Nonna, a loyal friend, and so much more. Miia’s spirit and compassion touched countless lives, not only within our restaurant family but throughout the entire community.
Her loss is immeasurable, and words cannot fully express the grief we feel. As we honor her memory, we are reminded of the love and grace she shared so generously.
