Tysons, VA (June 11, 2025) – Fairfax County Police have recovered a body from a small body of water near Westpark Drive and Galleria Drive in Tysons as part of the ongoing search for 19-year-old Kyle Benjamin Coleman. Authorities have not yet identified the victim.
Coleman, a graduate of Battlefield High School and a freshman at Morehouse College in Atlanta, was reported missing following a crash early Saturday. Since then, Fairfax County Police have coordinated an extensive multi-day search effort, deploying detectives, K9 units, forensics officers, search and rescue teams, drones, and a police helicopter. The department has also been working closely with Prince William County Police throughout the investigation.
Though police have not confirmed the identity of the remains, several public social media posts suggest that Coleman’s family believes the body is his.
