Murder-Suicide in West Omaha – June 7, 2025 — Omaha Fire and Police Departments responded to a shooting Saturday afternoon at 13615 California Street in West Omaha.
According to initial reports, callers alerted authorities to a possible shooting involving two individuals. Upon arrival, first responders found both parties deceased at the scene. Investigators believe one person shot the other before taking their own life.
Omaha Police have secured the area and will remain on scene as they conduct a full investigation. The identities of the individuals have not yet been released, pending family notification.
Authorities are asking anyone with information related to the incident to contact OPD.
