A shooting in South Dallas Thursday night left eight people hospitalized, including two in critical condition, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Police said they responded to a shooting call around 8 p.m. in the 2700 block of Lenway Street, near Malcolm X Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found several individuals who had been shot.
Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived at the scene and transported eight victims to a nearby hospital. Two of the victims are reported to be in critical condition.
Authorities have not released any details about possible suspects or the circumstances leading up to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
