It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Cameron Mahoney, 19, of Wells, who lost his life in a motorcycle accident on the evening of Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Kennebunk, Maine.
Cameron was involved in a collision at the intersection of Alewive Road (Route 35) and Walker Road around 6 p.m. Despite the valiant efforts of bystanders and emergency responders, Cameron succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
A proud native of Wells, Cameron was known for his adventurous spirit, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. He had a passion for motorcycles and found joy and freedom in riding. Cameron approached life with energy, curiosity, and a generous soul that touched everyone he met.
He is survived by his loving family, including his parents, siblings, extended relatives, and many friends who will deeply miss his smile, laughter, and the light he brought into their lives.
Cameron’s life, though brief, left a lasting impact on all who knew him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
