It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ryan E. Lankster, 46, of Danville, Illinois, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
Ryan was a beloved member of the Danville community, known for his warm spirit, kind heart, and passion for the open road. Whether riding his motorcycle or spending time with friends and family, Ryan lived life with a sense of freedom and sincerity that touched everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving family, who are currently grieving this unexpected loss. Ryan’s life, though cut short, leaves behind memories filled with laughter, love, and an unyielding sense of adventure.
An autopsy has been scheduled, and the circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation by the Danville Police Department and the Vermilion County Coroner’s Office.
