Waterbury, CT (May 27, 2025) — The Waterbury Police Department is actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred this afternoon at the Brass Mill Center, located at 495 Union Street.
Authorities confirmed in a statement released at 5 p.m. that multiple victims have been reported. The exact number of injuries or potential fatalities has not yet been disclosed.
Police and emergency response teams are currently on the scene, securing the area and attending to victims. The department is urging the public to steer clear of the area to allow first responders to operate without obstruction.
