 Jason Bernard Peabody obituary – It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of Jason Bernard, an eighth-grade student at Higgins Middle School. Jason’s life was tragically cut short, and our entire community is mourning the loss of a bright, kind young soul.

The death of a child is an unimaginable heartbreak, and our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Jason’s family, friends, teachers, and classmates during this incredibly painful time. We must now come together to wrap this grieving family in love, compassion, and unwavering support.

While the circumstances surrounding Jason’s passing are still being understood, reports suggesting a connection to bullying are especially troubling. If these reports are accurate, they must serve as a wake-up call to everyone. The community, must do better—better at listening, better at protecting, and better at creating environments where every child feels safe, seen, and valued.

“All are encouraged to attend a memorial vigil for Jason Bernard Friday the 23rd @ 6:30pm Location is 10 veterans Memorial Drive in Peabody Mass. all are encouraged to bring black and blue balloons to be released as well as a candle to be lit. Also, if you feel it in your heart, please bring a donation so that the family can give him a proper burial.”
