It is with profound sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Ford Brewer, who died on May 1, 2025, due to an accidental head injury. Ford was a cherished son and a beloved member of his community, known for his compassion, intellect, and unwavering dedication to others.

A 2018 graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, Ford was recognized as a Haslam Scholar at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He pursued dual majors in Neuroscience and English, driven by a deep interest in brain health and a passion for writing. His commitment to service was evident through his volunteer work with immigrant children and his involvement in athletics mentoring. Ford’s academic excellence and leadership were further acknowledged when he was awarded the Peyton Manning Scholarship, a testament to his outstanding achievements and character.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Ford was an avid basketball player and a skilled guitarist. He had a profound appreciation for the arts and a genuine interest in understanding and helping others. His kindness, humor, and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Ford is survived by his parents, Holly and Gordon Brewer, and his extended family and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced in the coming days.
