Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are investigating a suicide death at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. According to authorities, an individual was found deceased after jumping down from the windown at the hotel ; however, no foul play is suspected at this time. The Clark County Coroner’s Office is working to determine the cause of death.
The Excalibur Hotel & Casino, located at 3850 Las Vegas Boulevard South, is a popular destination for visitors to the Strip. This incident marks the second reported death at the hotel in recent years. In June 2023, 35-year-old Martell Merrill was fatally shot in a hotel room following a dispute over a $20 gambling voucher. Christopher Mason, 40, was arrested in connection with that incident and charged with open murder.
At this time, there is no indication that the recent death is related to the previous homicide. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are working to provide more information as it becomes available.
