It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Brett Lane, 51, who tragically lost his life on Friday afternoon, April 25, 2025, in a multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of 47th Street and Willow Springs Road near La Grange and Western Springs.
Brett was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering integrity, he touched the lives of many. Whether lending a hand to a neighbor, cheering on his favorite sports teams, or spending time with his family, Brett lived with heart and purpose.
He is survived by his children, loved ones, and countless friends who will forever cherish his memory and the joy he brought into their lives.
A second life, that of a 49-year-old woman, was also lost in this heartbreaking tragedy. Her name has not yet been released, and we extend our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones during this unimaginable time.
