Water Street Suicide — Tampa Police responded to a report of a deceased person who reportedly died by suicide Thursday morning in a park at Sparkman Wharf located at 615 Channelside Dr, Tampa, FL in Downtown Tampa.
Officers arrived on scene and confirmed the individual was deceased. Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are working to positively identify the deceased. The next of kin will be notified once identification is confirmed.
The cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner.
