Kamron Taque obituary – 18-Year-Old Kamron Taque died in South Dallas Shooting; One Other Injured

An early morning shooting in southern Dallas on Sunday has left one person dead and another injured, according to Dallas police.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 3:35 a.m. in the 4300 block of South Malcolm X Boulevard. Upon arrival, authorities discovered that two individuals had been shot at the location.

One of the victims, identified as 18-year-old Kamron Taque, was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The second victim was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle and is currently listed in stable condition, police said in a press release.
