It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mamoun Hakim, age 18, of Mokena, Illinois. Mamoun tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident, leaving behind a family, community, and circle of friends who loved him dearly.
Born and raised in Mokena, Mamoun was a bright, kind-hearted young man known for his vibrant spirit and contagious smile. A recent student of Lincoln-Way East High School, he was full of dreams and promise, always eager to chase adventure and live life to the fullest.
Mamoun touched the lives of many with his warm personality and generous heart. Whether it was through school, friendships, or the simple moments he shared with others, he made a lasting impact that won’t be forgotten.
He is survived by his loving family, countless friends, and a community that mourns his loss deeply. Mamoun’s time with us was far too short, but the love he gave and the memories he created will live on in all who knew him.
