It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Cassidy Jackson, 23, of Hermitage, Tennessee. Cassidy was found unconscious on Friday, April 11th, 2025, on Rachels Lane with head trauma. She was rushed to Skyline Medical Center but, despite efforts, sadly passed away.
Authorities later confirmed that Cassidy had been fatally shot. She had been reported missing by her family on Saturday, April 12th, in Putnam County. Cassidy had no personal belongings with her when she was discovered, and the circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation.
Cassidy was known for her warm heart, infectious smile, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her untimely and senseless passing has left a deep sadness in the hearts of all who knew her. Cassidy’s family and loved ones are devastated by this loss, and they request privacy during this incredibly difficult time.
A memorial service to honor Cassidy’s life will be announced by her family at a later date.
