Authorities are investigating after a man died in an apparent suicide after shooting himself in a parking garage at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The tragic incident occurred at around 11:30 a.m. April 7 parking garage at Fashion Square.
Scottsdale police responded to the scene after report of an unidentified man shot himself at Fashion Square. The man was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The man was taken to a hospital where he later died. Scottsdale police said there was no ongoing threat to the area.
A Scottsdale police spokesperson said there were no road closures as of 2 p.m., and police presence at the parking garage was minimal. Circumstances surrounding the incident is unclear at this time.
