A student attending Laramie High School is dead following what has been described as a “tragic incident” on Tuesday, according to the report.Few details were immediately available.
Details regarding the identity of the deceased and the cause of death have not been released at this time. The Police Department has stated that they are actively investigating the incident and are working to determine whether foul play was involved.
The Crisis Response Team for Albany County School District at LHS has been activated, and students and staff have support available on site as required. School is still in session as normal. At this time, our care and concern are with the family.
