It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeremy Lujan, age 34, of Santa Fe, who tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday morning, January 21, 2025. Jeremy was struck by a vehicle around 2:26 a.m. near Cerrillos Road southbound, close to Richards Avenue. He was found by authorities with serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital, where he sadly passed away.
Jeremy was a beloved son, brother, and friend who touched the hearts of all who knew him. His warm, caring nature and infectious spirit made him a valued member of his community. Known for his sense of humor, generosity, and the way he always made others feel welcome, Jeremy will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of calling him a friend.
While his life was tragically cut short, Jeremy’s memory will live on in the stories shared by his loved ones and the impact he had on those around him. His loss leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of his family, friends, and the community at large.
Jeremy is survived by his [family members], friends, and all who loved him. The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the circumstances of the hit-and-run, and no arrests have been made at this time.
A memorial service to honor Jeremy’s life will be held at a later date. His family kindly requests privacy as they grieve this devastating loss.
