It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Margaret Elenis Siklas, a devoted wife, mother, loving daughter and sister, passionate entrepreneur, and courageous warrior. Margaret left us too soon, at the age of 34, surrounded by the love of her family.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Vasili Siklas, and their two precious sons, Konstantino (9) and Alexandro (4). She also leaves behind her parents, Antonios and Elisabeth Elenis; her mother-in-law, Vasiliki Siklas; her brother, Emmanuel Elenis, and sister-in-law, Maria Elenis; her sister, Katerina Elenis, and brother-in-law, Joseph Alaimo; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roula and Mavroudi Kontanis; her nieces and nephews; and countless other friends and loved ones who were touched by her kindness, strength, and spirit.
Margaret’s life was one of resilience and unwavering determination. Her personal journey was marked by courage, as she transformed her battle into a mission to raise awareness and educate others on the importance of health and wellness. Above all, Margaret was a devoted mother. Her two sons, Konstantino and Alexandro, were her light, her strength, and the driving force behind every decision she made. They were her reason for fighting, and her love for them knew no bounds.
As we say goodbye to Margaret, let us honor her legacy by carrying forward her message of strength, hope, and the power of resilience. Let us remember her passion for making the world a better, healthier, and happier place for everyone.
A service in Margaret’s memory will take place on Friday, March 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Transfiguration of Christ Church in Corona. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Margaret’s nonprofit organization, Ball4life, which aims to support others battling cancer. Donations can be made via Zelle to margaret@ball4lifegives.com or by check made out to Ball4life and mailed to Rose Filacouris at 25-18 50th Street, Woodside, NY 11377.
Margaret will forever be missed, but her spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
