It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the untimely passing of Vance Ottati, a beloved member of the LaSalle Institute High School Junior Varsity football team. His death has left an indelible mark on the LaSalle community, where he was known for his athleticism, sportsmanship, and kind spirit.
Vance was a dedicated and passionate athlete, whose love for football shone through in every practice and game. His commitment to his teammates and the sport was apparent, and he always gave his all, striving to better himself and support his peers. As a JV player, Vance showed promise not only on the field but in his character off it, where his friendship and camaraderie made him a cherished member of the LaSalle family.
Vance’s presence was a source of joy to all who knew him. He had a heart full of ambition and a smile that could light up any room. Whether he was on the football field or with his friends and family, Vance’s positive energy and determination were contagious. He was a son, a brother, a teammate, and a friend to many, and his passing has left a hole in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
A memorial service to celebrate Vance’s life will be provided when it becomes available.
