It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Justin Diaz, 23, of Queens, who tragically lost his life in a fatal crash on Wednesday, February 25, 2025, at approximately 4:15 a.m. Justin was driving north on 107th Street in a BMW when his vehicle collided with a Mercedes-Benz driven by a 28-year-old man traveling east on Northern Boulevard.
Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Justin was pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital shortly after the crash. The 28-year-old driver of the Mercedes and a 28-year-old male passenger were hospitalized but are reported to be in stable condition.
Justin will be remembered for his kind heart, his vibrant personality, and the joy he brought to those around him. His untimely passing has left a deep sorrow in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
