Teesdale, County Durham – A body has been discovered in the ongoing search for 23-year-old Jenny Hall, the farmer’s daughter from Barracks Farm, County Durham. Hall was last seen leaving her home in her car just after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18.
Durham police confirmed the tragic news on Sunday, stating: “We’re sorry to report that officers searching for missing woman Jenny Hall have sadly found a body.” The search had been extensive, with officers and specialist partners working around the clock to locate Hall.
The body was located in a remote area of Teesdale just after 9:30 a.m. today. Formal identification has yet to be completed, but Jenny’s family have been informed of the discovery.
In a statement, the police added, “Jenny’s family are being supported by specialist officers, and they have requested privacy during this devastating time.”
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to confirm the identity and cause of death.
