CU Boulder active shooter – A shelter-in-place has been issued for students near Folsom Field at the University of Colorado Boulder after a large police presence was reported in the area Monday afternoon. The CU Boulder Police Department and the university’s campus emergency systems alerted the community about the situation shortly after 2:35 p.m.
The emergency alert was specifically for the Parking Garage/Champion Center area, as officers responded to an undisclosed incident. Students and staff in the vicinity are being urged to remain indoors and avoid the affected area until further notice.
