Middlesex Borough, NJ – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jennifer Panek, 38, who was tragically found deceased on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Haverstick Park. Her death comes after she was reported missing the previous day, Friday, February 7, 2025, at 3:22 p.m.
Jennifer was last seen walking away from the home she shared with her husband and two children, and family members expressed concern as she left without her phone or identification. Despite a dedicated search by authorities on Friday, Jennifer was not found. However, a citizen made a heartbreaking discovery on Saturday at 2:23 p.m. when suspicious items were found in the park, leading to a 911 call.
The Middlesex Borough Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death, though they have not yet disclosed the details of the items found. Jennifer’s passing has left her family, friends, and the community in mourning.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, two children, and many family members and friends who will remember her for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to those she loved. Her loss will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
