Authorities are currently investigating after 3 children and a woman were found deceased in an apparent murder suicide in Chesapeake. The incident occurred Thursday morning in the 3000 block of Welcome Road.
Police were dispatched to the scene after they received a welfare check call at approximately 6:55 a.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they found deceased minors being inside the residence. They made entry and a woman was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, along with three minors.
