It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Leroy S. Ryner, 18, of Roxbury, who tragically lost his life following an incident on the evening of Thursday, January 30, 2025. Leroy was shot at approximately 10:31 PM at the intersection of Morton Street and W Selden Street. Despite the quick response of Boston EMS, who transported him to Boston Medical Center for further evaluation, Leroy succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Leroy was a vibrant young man with a bright future ahead of him. Known for his kind heart, infectious energy, and deep love for his family and friends, Leroy was taken far too soon. He was a source of joy and inspiration to all who knew him, and his loss has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who loved him.
Leroy’s family and friends are heartbroken by his tragic passing but will always cherish the memories they have of him.
Leroy’s family, friends, and the Roxbury community mourn his loss deeply. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Leroy. You will never be forgotten.
