Little Rock, AR – The victim of a fatal shooting at Park Plaza Mall on Monday has been identified as 47-year-old Cynthia Gregory. Gregory was found with gunshot wounds near the mall and later succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital, according to Mark Edwards, a spokesman for the Little Rock Police Department.
Police responded to the scene at 6000 West Markham St. at approximately 6:11 p.m. Monday. Authorities are continuing their investigation but have not yet named a suspect in connection with the incident.
Park Plaza Mall expressed their condolences in a statement released Monday evening, saying, “Our deepest and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim and their family. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation, including providing access to security footage. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, employees, and tenants remains our highest priority.”
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
