Fisher College is deeply saddened to announce the tragic loss of one of its students, Taylor Wilkinson, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood on the evening of January 18, 2025. Taylor, 20, was struck along with another woman at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Washington Street at Lenox Street. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

A 2023 graduate of the Edward M. Kennedy Academy for Health Careers in Boston, Taylor was a sophomore at Fisher College, pursuing a degree in management with a concentration in fashion merchandising. Known for her bright spirit, dedication, and passion for her studies, Taylor had quickly become a beloved member of the Fisher community. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, determination, and warmth.

Taylor’s family, friends, and classmates are devastated by her loss. Her twin sister, a fellow student at Fisher College, is among those grieving this heartbreaking tragedy. Taylor’s presence on campus was marked by her joyful demeanor, and she had a profound impact on everyone who knew her.

Fisher College President Steven Rich offered the following statement: “This is an unimaginable loss, and our hearts go out to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Taylor was a bright light, and her loss is felt deeply by all of us here at Fisher.”
