It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of Miranda (Northcott) Pugliese. She died Friday, January 10, 2025. Miranda was a vibrant, joyful, and loving soul who touched the lives of everyone she met, and her infectious spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Miranda’s bright smile and hearty laugh were her trademarks. Whether on the rugby field, with friends, or in the company of her family, she always brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Her energy was boundless, and her ability to brighten any room was unmatched. A passionate athlete, Miranda played rugby with a fierce heart and a never-give-up attitude. Her teammates and friends will always remember her for her unwavering positivity and the encouragement she brought to every match.

After graduating from college, Miranda married her college sweetheart, Puggs, and together they created a beautiful life in Atglen, where they raised their two sons, Blake and Myles. Miranda’s love for her family was evident in everything she did. She was a devoted wife and mother, and her children were the center of her world.

Her family and friends will forever cherish the moments shared with Miranda—the laughter, the love, and the unforgettable memories that she leaves behind. Miranda’s legacy is one of love, joy, and the importance of living life with an open heart.

She is survived by her loving husband, Puggs; her two children, Blake and Myles; her parents; her siblings; and a wide circle of friends who considered her a bright light in their lives.

A celebration of Miranda’s life will be held in the coming days, and details will be shared with those who wish to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity close to Miranda’s heart, which will be announced at a later time.
